Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

Hi Jeeva, There are 2 ways to get the DX Secure Tracking number 1. After HMPO confirm that your documents have been dispatched, you can request them to connect you to the department (within HMPO) that handles dispatches and deals with DX. This internal department will be able to give you the trackin...

Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

Hi Guys, Could someone tell me if it is possible to collect a British Passport directly from one of the HMPO offices in London or elsewhere a few days after the passport interview? I know HMPO send passports through DX courier but I've recently had a case of misplaced delivery resulting from unimagi...

Re: British Passport: professional status of counter-signato

Guys, Thanks for your replies but my original question was about a British Passport application and not a British Citizenship application. The British Passport application only requires one referee to counter-sign (correct me if I am wrong). However, the list of professions is the same as that for a...

Question on ID used for KOL Test

Hi Guys, I had used my Tier 1 BRP card as a proof of identification when I had taken my Life in the UK Test last year as part of my ILR application. When ILR was granted to me, the case worker destroyed the old Tier 1 BRP card and later, of course, the new IRL BRP card was sent to me by post. Now I ...

Thanks guys for your replies. That seems to be the standard letter that they hand out to every applicant. Probably UKBA are only being a bit too cautious with the words they use.

Content of ILR approval letter

Last week I made a PEO application at Croydon seeking ILR for myself and my dependents. At the end of a fairly straightforward, 3 hr process (no questions asked), my case worker returned all passports and original documents along with a signed UKBA letter. However, the letter she gave me only tells ...

Confirmation of grant for in-person PEO application

Hello, Very soon I'm due to apply in person at the Croydon PEO for a Tier 1 (General) extension. My question ...

Earnings to be shown for a Tier 1 (general) extension

Hello,

I'm preparing to apply for a Tier 1 (general) extension.

Is it necessary to show more earnings than I had shown at the time of my initial Tier 1 (general) application even if my current earnings fall under exactly the same PBS bracket as far as qualifying points are concerned?

Any locational restriction on choice of PEO?

Hello, Is there any geographic restriction on one's choice of a Public Enquiry Office (PEO) that one can personally visit to file a Tier 1 (General) extension application? In other words, is it mandatory for someone living at a given postcode to only choose a PEO falling in or assigned to that area?...
