Earnings to be shown for a Tier 1 (general) extension

Post by utopia » Fri Mar 02, 2012 6:50 am

Hello,

I'm preparing to apply for a Tier 1 (general) extension.

Is it necessary to show more earnings than I had shown at the time of my initial Tier 1 (general) application even if my current earnings fall under exactly the same PBS bracket as far as qualifying points are concerned?

No. You need to score enough points, whether you do it with more or less earnings than in your initial application - it doesn't matter as long as you are able to score at least the minimum points and submit the required documents.
I've never heard anything about comparing an extension application to the original one, and there's nothing about it in the guidance notes or application forms.
