Thanks. actually I was contracting for a UK company (working from overseas) and was working as self employed and yes I was earning over £18K+/year. The company was transferring the money to my UK account but I don't have any savings. Does it matter? Would that money count towards the financial ...

I did mention in my initial post and in the last post that I have found a job of £40k+. But what I want to ask that is there a possibility of bringing my family here earlier than waiting for 6 months salary slips and statements?

well to be honest, no savings. But salary £40k+

But I can deposit some money in home country where my wife is. But not in UK accounts since I was not here.
