Re: Ecctis letter for US degree

Thanks. So, when i am checking on ECCTIS or ENIC, they dont have anything called AQUALS. Would you know if this is the "Statement of Comparability" and not the "Visas and Nationality (English proficiency)" ?

Re: Ecctis letter for US degree

Hello All, As per https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/english-language-requirement-family-members it says that if a degree is completed in the USA it is assumed to be an appropriate CEFR level. Does this mean I would still need an ECCTIS letter ?? I am applying for ILR as a Dependent. My ...

Re: Tier 2 (ICT Long Term Staff partner) to Tier 2 General

Thanks a lot Manci,

Really appreciate your help.

So to make it a safe situation, I should have just the one active visa...so get the T2G dependent cancelled and then apply for a new one ?

Re: Tier 2 (ICT Long Term Staff partner) to Tier 2 General

Hi Manci, Thanks for the reply. 1. My wife's T2G has NOT been cancelled. Since the job she had applied for was taken by somebody else, the sponsor asked her not to travel. The visa is still valid (sponsor say he has not cancelled it) and says it will be open till they can find another role for her ...

Re: Tier 2 (ICT Long Term Staff partner) to Tier 2 General

Hi Manci, I have a weird situation. This is how my visa status is 1. I traveled to UK on a Short Term Staff ICT - Feb 2013 to Feb 2014 - I returned to India on 15 Jan 2014. 2. My wife applied for T2G visa and got one in Feb 2014. I applied for a dependent visa and was granted one. This visa is ...

Re: COS Expiry with a valid Tier2 Visa

Thanks for this quick and prompt response. :)

So if the company does withdraw its present COS. Can I find a new sponsor on the same Visa even without travelling to the UK in the first place ??

COS Expiry with a valid Tier2 Visa

Hello, I have a valid Tier-2 General Category visa (expiry in Feb '17) on the basis of a COS from a company. The company has not found any suitable work for me yet and has asked me to wait before they can confirm my travel dates to the UK. My worry is that the COS has an expiry date (22nd April 2014 ...

Short term ICT as well ?

Hello, A very similar story with me. I saw your previous posts and understood that with a TIER-2 ICT you may not be eligible for the TIER-2 General Visa. Sorry if I am asking this again ... 1. Does this apply to "Short-term ICT" as well ?? (I am on this one, currently) 2. I have come to the UK only ...
