Releiving letter!

Hi folks, Just read something about 'Releiving letter' - which needs to be submitted with ILR applications. Haven't heard this before. My scenario is this: 1. Got WorkPermit in Dec 2007 for Job A. 2. Tier 1 Visa issued in Sept 2008. 3. Left Job A in January 2009. 4. Started Job B in Feb 2009. left i...

The 'Releiving letter' you mentioned. Can you please elaborate what this is.
I had a work permit previously and now a Tier 1 visa. When I left my work permit related job - i need to show some sort of releiving letter for that job?

Thanks for the reply. Yes you are correct. The WP approval letter shud be ok to show for the period before T1G. Atleast that's what I have gathered from some similar posts on this site. I now have to find where it is !!! I have a few more queries: 1. How long it takes to order p60 for last 5 years(i...

@malikjitin
From what I have seen in this forum- ppl have applied 2-3 months in advance thru post and got visa from date of expiry.
Applying in post early is diff from applying early in PEO. It really depends on the case worker.

@esharah, yes my visa was extended to september 2013(extension period June 2011-Sept 2013). If you are applying in post now, then it really shouldnt matter as its normal to apply 2-3 months from date of expiry thru post. @softlogic, thanks. As it states that salary slips should be stamped and signed...

Now one more question.
Is the UK tax period 1 April - 31 March or
6 April - 5 April.
Either way can I show it as a proof of earning for the period 1 April - 31 March.

Thanks. 1. I forgot to mention , in my case (as if by chance) I will be using the period 1 April 2010-31 March 2011. Which will be in line with the tax documents(due to it being for the same period) showing the amount I have claimed. The P60 shows the exact amount I am claiming. Also how do they mat...
