Re: Has anyone tried the now fully opened application for EU settlement scheme?

Btw, how did you guys request for a form? I only filled up a question form and explained that I need a form as I am applying for EU settlement scheme (Surinder Singh). Or is there another way? I haven’t really got any reply or confirmation from them. Thanks Thats one of the two ways you can request...

Re: Has anyone tried the now fully opened application for EU settlement scheme?

They called me back and was told that they will post the application to me next week, which will need to be posted back. With regards to what needs to be provided, the person I spoke with said that it is likely that if you already have a document establishing the Surinder Singh relationship, you wo...

Re: Has anyone tried the now fully opened application for EU settlement scheme?

I called the Resolution Centre and they have confirmed that all Surinder Singh applications will need to be done via a paper application. Someone from the Resolution Centre that specializes in case law is due to call me back by the end of the day to let me know further details on the process.I will...

Re: Has anyone tried the now fully opened application for EU settlement scheme?

Same here. I tried to apply for settled status today, as I have a residence card (Vignette) via Surinder Singh route, but the app could not recognise my vignette. Further check on the gov.uk website mentioned that Surinder Singhers need to request a paper application form. Previous documents prior t...

Re: Should I wait

The only difference between applying for PR and Settled status is if you wish to apply for British citizenship - as PR can be backdated if you're related to a qualified person for more than 6 years, whereas ettled status can't be backdated. Sorry i dont understand this paragraph. did you mean that ...

Re: PR Application without Non-EU Passport.

1. Will my PR application be rejected and returned as invalid without both our passports included? Unless you provide evidence that compelling circumstances prevent you from doing so (travel is not one of them), yes, it will be rejected. 2. If I submit both our passports, I know that I am able to r...

Re: Settled status processing times

Anyone in a similar position (non-EU family member, holder of biometric RC) has had any confirmation of status, or know how long this takes after their EU family member has had theirs? Hey Kamoe, glad you were able to apply in the test phase. The non-EEA people I know are waiting for an answer, hav...

Re: EU SETTLEMENT SCHEME AND FAMILY MEMBERS OF BRITS (SURINDER SINGH)

The statement of changes to the immigration rules posted on the gov website on 11th October 2018 implemented the Surinder Singh route into Appendix EU. However it looks unlikely they would be able to apply for status until the EU settlement scheme is fully open. https://www.gov.uk/government/public...

Minimum required visa length for travel on RC?

What is the minimum required number of months that a holder of a UK Residence Card must have left on their Residence card before they are allowed entry back into UK at the airports. So for example, will an individual whose Residence card expires in April 2019, be allowed back into the UK if they tra...

EU SETTLEMENT SCHEME AND FAMILY MEMBERS OF BRITS (SURINDER SINGH)
