Re: HO allows new application after deception

Again, another hypothetical question and guessing game on why HO does certain things. A person could have an established private life, British children, lived here for a long time for example. HO gives them the opportunity to apply if they meet any other category, within or outside the rules. I am ...

Re: HO allows new application after deception

Hi Guys,
I really want a sincere answer if anyone can help.
My understanding is this:
if HO says someone has deception which probably means that the person is not fit to settle in the UK, why would they ask such a person to proceed for a new application within 14 days.
Many thanks

Re: HO allows new application after deception

I never mentioned "valid" application in my question.
I actually want to understand the rationale for asking people with deception to apply for new application.

HO allows new application after deception

Dear Guru, I am just curious as many of you reading many of the posts on this forum. Is there any reason why HO still asks/allows some people(in their refusal letters) to go for new application when they have already given them "deception" in the current application and HO probably also knows that t...

Re: Tier 1 => Tier 2

Thanks to the Gurus.
The point she will like to know is if her clock resets within the country and she starts another 5 years on tier 2 general with any problem throughout, will she be able to get ILR after the 5 years period or else rather she will not bother to venture into that.

Re: Tier 1 => Tier 2

If deception is given(hope not), at what point will the deception be wiped out?

Will deception be wiped out if she starts Tier 2 again from the beginning to reset the 5 year clock again?

Re: Tier 1 => Tier 2

Just to make it clearer:

1. what does she need to do to get the Tier 2 without leaving the country based on her scenarios?
2. Will she be able to get ILR after another 5 years based on Tier 2

Tier 1 => Tier 2

A friend needs an advice. She applied for a 5 years Tier 1 (G) ILR. Visa is already expired. She did tax amendment and was sent questionnaires to complete. She is looking for a Tier 2 sponsor - can she change to Tier 2 now at this stage is she eventually gets a sponsor? If her ILR is refused (I hope...

2. if yes, please which website can this be done?
3. if it comes with a date, does this date technically the current limit of stay in the country?
4. if no, what does the date mean?

Thanks

Different responses from Home Office

I have noticed that people have received different responses at different times from HO. Some of these are listed below: 1. home office is waiting for reply from other govt departments. 2. monthly email from UKVI "your application still under consideration 3. your application raises exceptionally co...

Application date

Dear Gurus, 1. Please is the date of postage (post office stamp) the same as the application date OR the date that the HO receives the application. 2. What happens if the public holiday prevents the application from reaching the HO on time? HO states -"The most recent bank statement must show a date...
