No EFM RC, no DCPR as family member.
Even if EU citizens do not need EFM RC?

Re: UK Absences How do I answer this queation

Did you not keep e-mails?

Otherwise if you have been exercising treaty rights for the last 5 years just fill in the application for the last 5 years.

EEA Family Member

Hello My partner and I are both EU nationals who exercised treaty rights in the UK for the last 5 years. We would like to make an application together however I am still confused by the 'Family Member' part. I am wondering which of the following two options would apply for us: 1. Do two different ap...

Re: Advice for Online Translation Website/Company?

I don't want pay too much. Anyone has been through the process before and can advise a company that won't charge too much?

I can use Google but I was rather looking for people who have used these companies before.

Advice for Online Translation Website/Company?

Hi Everyone,

Do you have any advice for translating supporting documents in a cost-efficient way? Online would be preferrable too!

Thank you

Re: No EHIC Card

I have read of all these - but they are official documents so I guess they won't be speaking about 'exceptions'. I posted here in case someone was in a similar situation. If I purely rely on these documents, then clearly it says I shouldn't be bother trying. However I have read this for instance wh...

Re: No EHIC Card

I guess I will try and see what answer I get. Getting the letters translated is actually quite expensive, so I hope there is still a chance for me, otherwise it would just be a waste of money, but as you said, no choice really! I have edited my post above to add some informative documents/links. Th...

Re: No EHIC Card

Yes - basically the cover I had made me eligible for an EHIC card issued in France. I just did not apply for it. What if I had lost it anyway... Would it be something that HO would know about? Would a cover letter be needed? HO won't give benefit of doubt or just wave you through with a rubber-stam...

Re: No EHIC Card

In France Social Security includes comprehensive health insurance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_security_in_France Would it be worth adding a cover letter to my application? Does it cover the recipient if they are abroad? Yes - basically the cover I had made me eligible for an EHIC card issu...

From 2010-2011, I was a student in the UK. I did not have an EHIC Card, however I do have some documents from my home country stating that I was covered my home country's social security. Re: No EHIC Card

1) So then I guess that letter isn't 'rock-solid' enough is it? Do you think it would still be worth trying? I am asking because the letters are in French and translating them has a cost. 2) I would also need to prove I was self-sufficient. I can provide bank statements for every month I was student...

Unemployed? Sure I was at least 'looking for a job', how can someone go from 'looking for a job' to 'unemployed' when they received an offer? What about people who are made redundant etc.?

Status Gap

Hello I graduated in the UK in November 2011. A few days later I received a verbal job offer. However the Human Resources department of new company took ages to issue the contract and process the paperwork which meant I only started my new job on 24 January 2012. What is my status for the period Nov...
