Did you include NARIC letter of comparability in your HSMP application ? If yes, did you include it along with the EC application ? For all you know it could just be a typo error on ECO part. Because under the new scoring criteria there's no provision for 25 marks for qualifications. Suggest you sen...

Absolutely correct !

1. Apply for HSMP from within UK.
2. Upon approval, visit your home country to apply for Entry Clearance on basis of HSMP approval.

My opinion: Original wage slips - acceptable. If on plain paper, get them signed and stamped from your HR department. Designation of signatory is helpful. Bank statements to support that - acceptable as long as they mention your employer name against salary credits. Current employement offer letter ...

Take out time to search the forum. This sort of question(s) is answered many times. Read the application guidelines. You'll know what all documents you need to submit. Don't assume that alternatives will work because you "think" they will. It's your future buddy, you'll need to do some groundwork :w...

AkashS, One suggestion regarding the HSMP documentation would be that you attach every single document you submitted for your HSMP application. DO NOT miss out anything. In my case, I had attached the entire file-folder "as is" with my EC application as I had sumbitted for HSMP approval :). regards

When you apply for PR using the SET(XYZ) form(s) as and when the time comes, you'll still need to show evidence of earnings and accommodation. But yes, you will not need to meet the HSMP criteria of scoring 75 points !! But and more importantly, make sure you get your initial FLR(HSMP) stamped at su...

In my opinion, evidence that you have arranged for accommodation (even if it for just 1-2 weeks at the time of arrival in UK) goes a long way in getting a positive outcome. You could get a letter from a friend / relative / acquaintance stating they are ready to / will be accommodating you on your ar...

Yes, it is true that you will not be allowed to switch from "HSMP Dependent" to "HSMP main" within the UK. You'll need to return to your home country and apply for an EC at such time. Also, the time you spend as HSMP Dependent is not counted towards ILR. So when you return to UK after an EC on basis...

Good news is that I received my passport back today - with a 2 year visa! It took less than 48 hours to get it back in my hands so I am pretty happy about that !! You can now enter UK anytime while your EC is valid and there's no time restriction to it. But bear in mind that: 1. Unless you confident of landing a job as soon as you arrive in UK, it's best you travel as soon as you can and start looking for jobs. 2. Your ILR counter starts only when you enter U...
