Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Hi Moon84,

I wasn't and am not self employed. It's pretty straight forward. My current is still valid until 2018. There is no tax amendments as it's just 10 year long residence application.

What about you? Did you receive a similar letter?

Thank you

So I called the customer care number again today and spoke to a helpful gentleman. After explaining my situation he said, if there is a problem with the payment, the Home Office will contact directly and that there is no way to contact them directly regarding this. Can someone confirm if I have any...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

I just received an approved letter for my 10 years Long residence ILR application. I thought, posting the processing time would help people waiting/applying for ILR based on this route. Came to the UK in 2006 - visas included student (Masters), Fresh Talent Scotland scheme, dependent, student (PhD)...

I haven't mentioned duration of contract and neither I had a trading business account. It must be very confusing to get refused for that reasons. I was thinking that Long residence is based on 10 years. Will they actually check everything? Also, If you did not mention for the contract, Why didn't t...

Yes. That's right. If you think that your case is complex, then it's probably better to send by postal application.

How do you define whether your case is complex or otherwise. It really depends on the individual.
