I've applied for ILR (SET M) and uploaded (and submitted to UKVI too) all documents to UKVCAS. Now I'be booked for a biometrics appointment and was wonderin...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Note applicants who only submitted their applications in August/Sep should NOT be expecting a decision. It is too early.

Anyone who applied March - July and submitted biometrics via IDV app and still waiting, may consider dual submissions if in URGENT need of a decision.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

There are many FREE appointments available. If someone who submitted biometrics via IDV app, is in urgent need of a decision, the best is to book a FREE UKVCAS appointment (so you dont pay unnecessarily) and test your luck via dual submission. Note, only if you are in urgent need, otherwise it is no...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

Thank you all those who responded. Just for an idea, as of 830am today, around 25 members reported (both in ILR and BC forum) who submitted via IDV app only are waiting. Only 1 member reported waiting via the appointment only. Lets wait and see how the trend evolves. I applied on the 3rd of June an...

At least the evidence shows that majority of the IDV applicants are still waiting. We all are in together.

The evidence clearly shows that those who went for appointments (in majority cases) are getting quicker decisions. I would urge anyone who has urgent need for a decision to test your luck via the appointment route only.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, Is it ok to go for a biometric appointment in person even after submitting through the IDV app? At least it appears in person looks to be faster when it comes to outcome. Also, I am getting a free appointment nearby so it would not do any harm as such. Regards SK You can if you wish. No harm.
