Re: Urgent Travel information

The BRP update in this case is NOT when ILR is approved. This is in case when OP has attended the ceremony and is British now.

Re: Urgent Travel information

Note, the above link is not a guarantee to check the validity of the BRP. It does not work for all plus this can take sometime to get updated also. If you fly to Pakistan believing on the above link and then it gets updated on a later date, you are stuck.

Once you complete the form you will get a documents checklist. Cohabitation documents are needed but usually not mentioned in the checklist as its not always correct. You must follow the official guidance for which documents are needed. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads ...

Re: Tier 2 General to ILR 5 year Route

1) What is your initial visa issue date? You can apply ILR when you complete 5 years minus 28 days counting from visa issue date. 2) You can NOT view any appointments unless you pay and submit an application first. No one can tell you about the availability as we do not have access to the system. 3 ...

1) Not sure how the Polish system works. If I was you, I would not even bother to declare it since its from 2013. However, if you wish to declare, just say Speeding Notice in “other” penalties. It is called a “Fixed Penalty Notice” in UK, not sure what is it called in Poland. 2) No issues. No need to ...

Re: Absence Confusion ILR-LR 10 years

She can not apply for ILR on LR basis until 2025 as she has had absence of more than 180 days that breaks the continuous stay for LR. It is ANY single count of more than 180 days during the last 10 years.
So the quicker would be SET(M) in 2022.

And ukvi didn’t ask anyone to submit ftf appointment, two applicants (who applied via app) got response that ukvi doesn’t have the bio Possibly they are in the queue to be called for biometrics again. Both parents sign and date. 3) Contact them, if the refuse, add a cover letter and show evidence of correspondence (if possible). Thanks for your reply. Now, I see how to proceed.
Once you start a new application, the online form asks if you have a pending application. You will declare it there anyways. Adding a cover letter is also a good practice.

No proof needed. Just input the last two addresses. Start the date for second address when the first address date ends to bypass the question. Ignore the 2 weeks.

If you really want to declare the 2 weeks in between, you can. No proof needed anyways.

Just carry originals to be on the safe side. The staff will not check it though. Only passport and appointment confirmation is mandatory. No need to print soft copies. Just take in a USB/email.

Re: British registration of UK born child of one parent ILR

1) Does the form ask who the email address belong to? If not, just select “applicant”. HO knows the parent is applying on child’s behalf.
2) Correct.
3) No need. Just answer yes for 5 years. HO knows child is only 3. No proof needed.

Ok I understand about the PCN but let me paraphrase it for my future reference when I speak to my colleagues who know even less then me.
How do you recognize a traffic warden from a police officer?
Google it.

Only if you make to the UK border first. If you are denied boarding the flight because your ILR BRP is not valid at the Pakistan airport, then you will have problems. I am not sure if ILR BRP will flag up as invalid at the Pakistani airport though.

A PCN is a penalty for contravention of parking regulations. It can be paid, contested by appeal, or contested by defending a claim for payment under the small claims track of the county court. You won't get a criminal record or points on your licence.
