I did upload the documents to the UKVCAS IDV , but on the UKVI appointment confirmation it says to bring original documents

Just carry originals to be on the safe side. The staff will not check it though. Only passport and appointment confirmation is mandatory. No need to print soft copies. Just take in a USB/email.
