Re: Payslips for ILR with backdated salary sacrifice

Hi All, I've have question regarding salary sacrifice in my payslip. Currently my salary is slightly above 35K limit. My employer lets us sacrifice £243 a month for childcare vouchers. However I forgot to do this at the start of the financial year. Anyway we can backdate it within a financial year,...

Re: ILR SET (O) section 6.1 date - Advice Please

Hi, For Set (O) under Tier 2 General my understanding is that we don't have to fill in any info on pages 30 to 66 on latest version 01/2018. I.e entire section 9. Just want to cross check to make sure I have not missed anything before submitting tomorrow at premium service centre. BR Itskrish That ...

Re: Removal of T2 employment 60 days gap

Many thanks CR001 and lanerzy for clarification. So how long we can remain in the country after the employment depends on how quickly HO sends a curtailment letter. With my last employment, however, the employer was quick in notifying HO and the letter (or email?) from HO came shortly after I left ...

Re: Removal of T2 employment 60 days gap

You do not have to leave the country. Provided you did not get any letter from HO curtailing your visa, you only need to make sure you get a new job with sponsor before the end of ur visa. There is a discussion relating to that here. indefinite-leave-to-remain/great-news-6 ... 44892.html https://www...

Re: Removal of T2 employment 60 days gap

Hi modelators and experts, The changes introduced recently included removal of Tier 2 rule covering gaps in employment of 60 days. I am curious to know how it exactlly works. I am currently on Tier 2 General. If I loses my current job, I have 60 days to find a new job assuming the last day of my em...

Zimba88, what about the recent rules changes for dependents and the date of visa issue that can be used? As far as I know the guide only was updated. The Immigration Rules part 8 paragraph 319E(d) still maintains (as before) that The applicant and the Relevant Points Based System Migrant must have ...

Re: ILR eligibility for Dependant.

Hi,

She can apply for ILR from today, 20/02/2018 but before her visa expires on 13/03/2018.
The date between her entry and issue date are allowed as absences and she does not have to prove the reason why.

Best of luck

Your salary must be at least £35000 (£35500 from 6th of April) or equal to the rate specified in relevant SOC code, whichever is higher.

My understanding is, you'll have to be paid at least £39K to qualify if that's the amount for your SOC code.
This is correct.

I do not know the implication of this but think about it before taking that step.
