Re: EEA PR - when can we apply?

Just to be clear, she needs the full 5 years residence. There is no '28 day or 30 day early applying' concession for EEA route applications. We got a trip booked for the end of November so planning to apply early December which is a couple of weeks after she arrived in the UK. Our main problem will...

Re: Do dual EU-UK citizens have rights under EU law?

I see, you are due to naturalise any time soon and then your wife will have her 5 years stay in November then she can a ply for a PR certificate (Hopefully). If you haven't become british yet ill put that on hold if i were you. Then, in November you will still have time to apply for BC. You don't h...

Re: I have Dual Citizenship -Wife non EU . 5 years Visa finishes ...

Thanks for your option Richard W and for an Idea that she can naturalise before `brexit (from derived right) , but I am not sure if that will be allowed for her , cause derivative or (derived ?) right to stay is not counting years she living in UK , logically she can`t apply for citizenship after s...

EEA PR - when can we apply?

Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone can clarify something for us. My wife is here through EEA family permit. She moved to the UK at the end of November 2013 and got her 5 year EEA permit in March. Can she apply for EEA PR at the end of November 18 or have to wait until the 5-year permit ends in March 20...

Re: Do dual EU-UK citizens have rights under EU law?

I am a German citizen and also a British Permanent Resident. My wife is non-EEA national and is living in the UK with me on a Residence Permit which she obtained through my German citizenship. I have held off applying for my British Citizenship as I did not want this to impact my wife's permission ...

Re: Dual UK/EEA Citizens

Hi Chioma, Do you mind me asking if went down the EEA route for the Resident Permit? I am EU citizen and my partner is from non-EU. We are married and my partner moved to the UK in November 2013 so we want to apply for Permanent Residency next November; however in the meantime, I am waiting for my B...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. It is absolutely important to mention that you have property here when you have ILR and you are proving that you are settled here!!!!! This is because you are looking to prove that you are committed to living in the UK and ownership of property is a very...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Hi, I have been in the UK for over 16 years, have Portuguese passport but was born in Brazil. I have had Brazilian passport before but haven't had one for at least 4 years now. I got my settled status in mid-2013. I have passed the English test and life in the UK and getting ready to apply for my c...
