Re: want to work in the uk legally.

But if you look across the world, the countries and cultures with the lowest divorce rates are very often in societies where the married couples have met only once, or never, before getting married. Yet they manage successful long stable marriages. I don't call a system of marriages with disgusting...

Re: want to work in the uk legally.

So you're saying even though it's not a requirement and that we HAVEN'T met first that they would just deny me from going into the UK? No, not at all, but you would have to convince the person that decides the application that you meet the requirements. The requirements include somewhat fuzzy words...

Re: want to work in the uk legally.

Seriously, remember that you have not met. Perhaps you should both meet? No, strictly speaking there is no requirement to have met for a marriage visit. However, don't forget all the other requirements that you need to demonstrate. Particularly that you intend to leave the UK and that you will get m...

Re: want to work in the uk legally.

You can apply but it would be refused because you would be in the UK as a visitor and not a Fiancé Page 12: Immigration status requirements E-LTRP.2.1. The applicant must not be in the UK- (a) as a visitor; https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/300961/Appendix_FM....

Extension of what? If it is as a visitor, some categories of visitor can stay over six months, for example visitors for private medical treatment.

Re: want to work in the uk legally.

No, not allowed. Doing that would also involve using verbal deception, a criminal offence. If you come an intend to stay as a visitor, you have to say so, but you don't get to come as a visitor.

In any case, I don't rate your chances of getting in the UK as a visitor.

BUNAC could be an option, this is now Tier 5 short term.

Have you met her? If not, a fiancé visa is not an option.

Have you met your girlfriend? What is your highest level qualification? Are you planning marriage? How much does ...

Re: ILR / Work Latest ruling - for Vignette (sticker) ILR-UR

I am sorry. It appears that an ILR/ILE stamp or vignette has to be in a current passport to be acceptable. The new guidance or really poorly drafted, and there are mistakes. For example on page 2: 4: Documents which are not acceptable for proving a right to work Q20 From the 16 May 2016, which docum...

Re: ILR application in process (postal) want to end Tier2 jo

The problem is Skc84 that you only have the right to work for the Tier 2 sponsor until the time you are actually granted ILR. Most employers shouldn't take the risk of employing someone whose conditions mean they cannot do the work in question.

Re: ILR / Work Latest ruling - for Vignette (sticker) ILR-UR

See page 25 with the pictures of different vignettes. You have the vignette with your picture printed right? Those vignettes ware also stuck to A4 pieces of paper which don't expire!!! You employer can call the employer helpline on 0300 123 4699 9-5 Mon to Fri for help - they should confirm the docu...

Re: UKBA requesting reason to stay in the UK ???

Okay, I've read some of your previous posts. Your wife's Tier 1 extension was refused and she is currently appealing. You initially applied as a dependent of your wife who was at the time applying for Tier 1. There was no decision for two years and when the caseworker came to make a decision your wi...

Re: UKBA requesting reason to stay in the UK ???

Also, bear in mind that you would not have been granted leave as a Tier 1 dependent if the Home Office knew your marriage was not subsisting.

Have you done a subject access request yet?

I would see a solicitor.

Do you have contact with your daughter?

I should also add, does your brother have five years' experience as a senior level chef? Getting sponsored as a chef is tough nowadays. There is a high minimum salary, £28k as far as I remember, it has to be a senior role, the restaurant has to be a top quality one cooking from scratch! no takeaways...

I don't think you have anything to worry about.
