haha, who so ever told you that he has to go back, is 100% incorrect. He is already on dependent and he will still be on dependent visa. NEVER TRUST TOTALLY ON SOLICITOR. USE YOUR OWN BRAIN ALSO. He does not need to go back to his home country to apply. One of my friend was in the same situation and...

Your wife needs to apply for ILR on her own by using SET(O) form. then you need to apply , i think by using FLR(M) form, need the homeoffice website. Basically you need to apply for further leave to remain for 2yrs as her dependent and then apply for ILR.

sukhdevuk, I don't understand the point that how could they accept your PIO appl on 1st October , when requirement for surrender cert. came into effect on 21st Sept. This is simply harrasing you. On 1st Oct they knew that you need a surrender cert. first, when why on earth they accepted your PIO app...

GoodFun, you don't haver to submit the Indian passport after you get your naturalisation certificate straightaway. wait till you get the british passport. As long as you are not using your indian passport after you get the naturalistaion cert, i don't think you are doing a crime! Therefore why not w...
