Re: Changing address while awaiting application number

Hello, I have sent on the application for the citizenship (as a EU Citizen) in mid-June 2019, I have received the original copies of the IDs at the end of July, and I am waiting for the application number. My issue now is that I am changing house to another address in Dublin. I don’t know how to co...

Re: Court rules "continuous residence" means you CANNOT LEAVE IRELAND AT ALL for year before application

I call last week and they said we are hoping for end of year (December) but nothing confirmed.
They will be no ceremony in October if we follow 4 weeks rule.
Now think about mid Nov or early December if everything super fast else it goes in January 2020.

Re: Court rules "continuous residence" means you CANNOT LEAVE IRELAND AT ALL for year before application

Several TDs are now asking questions about the timing. It will be interesting to see the responses. The response is back, copied below... same answer for all questions. The key piece is that the Minister has confirmed they are waiting for the outcome of the appeal before introducing the new legisla...

Re: September Citizenship Ceremony 2019

It looks to me that they are waiting for court appeal hearing, which will be on 8 Oct.
May be the court overturn the last decision but I am not fully sure.
If they will not pass any bill by next week then there will be no ceremony in Oct and will have to wait for Nov
