Re: Understanding Visa Expiry Date

Just to clarify, although I never lived in the UK, we are setup with our own flat and UK bank accounts etc. I don’t need her to be there the first few days. In fact I want to go earlier so that I can renovate the flat and paint it As long as you have your vigenette on your passport, you can travel ...

Re: Brittish by neutralisation

Your spouse would have to pay 150% cost for delivery. It is not free for visitors. As CR001 stated, your wife will be charged 150% of the cost for a delivery since she will enter as visitor. Two years ago when I got a quote from a hospital in England, it was around £5,000 and it varies from hospita...

Re: Application for my wife, resident in two countries.

Our ties are very strong in both Turkey and UAE. By the way it sounds, it seems your wife has strong ties to her country of residence, plus she’s been granted visitor visas several times in the past. Just be sure to submit all the paperwork that demonstrates it (especially about her business and yo...

Re: Spouse Settlement to Citizenship efficiently

I guess then, the 3 years residence is obselete. Would be interesting to see an example of where this could be used.. Gov UK still advertise "3 years if married to a british citizen" ... I wonder if the following situation would work... Spouse Visa, FLR(M) 6 months in apply for citizenship, if its ...

Re: Family visa + ILR in process

Thanks for the reply. I should have made it clear that they are visiting us for one week and for any help needed for my wife and not necessarily just for the baby. Absolutely no wages involved. Then apply for a visitor visa for them, and omit “they are going’s to take care of the child” because it’...

Re: Family visa + ILR in process

I was wondering since I dont have the ILR BRP with me and not knowing when it will be delivered, would it be acceptable to use my existing tier 2 general BRP/visa to apply for my in-laws' visa? I am sponsoring them. Although you may still have a valid tier 2 BRP, you no longer hold a status of temp...

Re: UK citizen pregnant with US citizen's baby

First of all, congratulations!!! Would it also make our situation easier if we got married? From a legal point of view and for immigration purposes, absolutely. And that includes sorting out dual citizenship for your baby easier, to gather documents, etc. Would it be easier for him to come back to t...

Re: Fiancé Visa- Language Requiemrnt- PG Dip

My problem is: the language requirements accept a Masters, Bachelors and PHD, however, there's no mention on PG Dip, which is an equivalent to Masters (the only difference is that I don't do the dissertation at the end of the course). It was taught in English. So, I just want to know if my PG Dip w...

We have been together for a year and I would like for him to come and live with me here in the UK.
Does he hold dual citizenship? Is he Spanish too?

Now with all this said, my main question is: am I inadmissible on the grounds of willful misrepresentation? Would my nondisclosure of those 2 arrests make me inadmissible? I know it's a detailed and complex case but I'd greatly appreciate any advice anyone can provide. I don't think you have been m...

Re: Visitor Visa Refused (Entry Clearance Delhi)-Need Advise

My question is what can they do to address this 'change in circumstances' and if they re-apply and state in a cover letter that it was a genuine mistake will home office take note of it. Thinking like a case worker, for the way it sounds, it seems like they have omitted the previous visa applicatio...

Re: Uk spouse visa - question

On extension the proof of cohabitation is mandatory. There are several threads about it. I think OP is going to apply for the spouse visa for the 1st time, therefore proof of cohabitation isn't mandatory in their case. But let's see... But we are married, that’s why we don’t have to met the 2 years...

I check my email 24H/24 I didn't receive anything yet
In that case, I suggest you to do what Zerubbabel has recommended: contacting your MP and explain your situation. If worse comes to worst, you will have to wait until hearing back from Home Office.

1. Am I right that the earliest I can submit my online application is 28 days before my visa expiry date? Hey! My understanding is this 28 days rule is actually a strong recommendation to avoid any shortfalls towards settlement (ILR), which means that if you apply no earlier than 28 days before you...

Thanks Jaune08 for your reply, The issue is I do not remember having this sort of question when we did apply 3 years ago.
