- Repeat offending (he will be seen as persistent offender) I have no idea about your chances, but I don't see them as 50/50. I totally agree with you. Khora , if you have enough money to meet the financial requirement via savings, I suggest you to consult a good lawyer to have a better idea about ...

Re: Advice on country for a quick marriage

You could try and find out more about marriages in Denmark... The government has recently changed and enforced their laws (in January 2019) as lots of foreigners were abusing of these fast tracks weddings, especially non-EEA. I was considering this as an option but I've found out that as Mexican, w...

Re: Advice on country for a quick marriage

Hey, I’m a Mexican married to a British. The way I see it, you only have two options: 1. Getting married in Las Vegas: As Mexicans, we need a visa to travel to USA. If she doesn’t currently have it, don’t even try to apply for one. At present, It’s getting really hard to get a visa. 2. Getting marri...

Re: Judicial review rejected now want to do a fresh application

is there any possibility to be detained again? And how is the chance to get a leave for the fresh application? It's possible to be detained, yes. Although I don't think anyone can give you an accurate percentage of the likelihood of being detained. Even what was my condition to become an overstayer...

Re: Family visa 10 year route

Does a A2 test expire? Or if you passed once it then you have this for life? Every Life Skills IELTS certificate (A1, A2, B1) has a two year validity. After that, you cannot longer use it (with some exceptions for the B1). I think you're overthinking the English test matter as seagul stated above. ...

What I understand from your case that you appeared in IELTS for UKVI examination and resubmitted the Test Report in the apeal for administrative review instead of reapplying with new Doc. Am i right? You're welcome, Asif. That's right: I submitted a new UKVI IELTS Test Report when I lodged the appe...

Re: New spouse visa application process confusion: self upload or scanning service?

I finally found the required information of the VFS site (which seems harder than it should be to find): https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/in/en/vacs/supporting-documents Oh thank you. That's actually helpful for anyone who is applying soon. I couldn't find this exact page on the VFS' website of my home ...

Re: New spouse visa application process confusion: self upload or scanning service?

1. Self Scanning and uploading: In terms of self scanning/uploading, this seems to be a nightmare, and not fit for purpose. Correct? It's difficult to self scan/upload as the website crashes quite often, deletes the files, etc. I have applied recently and for this reason, I preferred to pay to get ...

Yes it happens but not very frequently. Also sometimes the post gets delivered to wrong address which mostly happens in apartments/flats in same residential building. But in case of royal mail recorded special delivery it rarely happens. Thank you, seagul. That's something to keep in mind for futur...

Re: Please help urgently - FLR (M) refusal on ground on English language requirements

We decided to go with option 3. Although it did ruin a lot of plans for us, it does mean (inshaAllah) my wife will return in around 3 months. It would also mean not going on a 10 year route, and will most likely be the most cost effective I'm so sorry about your situation. I hope everything goes we...

Yeah I paid for priority service.
Is it a 1st time spouse visa application? It takes 6 weeks on priority service, but it's just an estimated timeline, as it may take shorter or longer than that. Priority does not guarantee 100% a fast decision about your application.

Re: meaning of "awaiting a decision" email?

I was told by my solicitor that a priority service means that your application will be put at the front of the queue. That’s it. It may be processed quickly, but unfortunately paying for priority does not guarantee 100% you will get a response faster, regardless of your situation. Some members have ...

Re: Is an Appendix 2 form required? Qs priority service

The issue of appendix 2 is not to be debatable because No one has yet come across any evidence which suggest Appendix 2 is not to be submitted on Access UK. Totally agree with you, unless HO releases a statement saying that Appendix 2 Form isn't needed for all applications anymore, we have to indiv...
