Has she ever had a visa before or it's the first time you're gonna apply for her T1 Dependant visa?
If she has never had a visa then you don't have to apply for her T1G dependant visa unless she's travelling.

Guys, don't stress yourself too much by reading the responses from UKBA. Unlike WP/T2, HSMP/T1 was never required to be working all year around so unpaid leave would never break continuity of your stay. From experience I can tell you, don't read too much into UKBA's responses either, half the time ...

That's good news. How are they going to adjust this £ 100, for applicants who booked before 06/04 and are going for appointments after 06/04. They'll charge you £100 less if you've already paid for your appointment. If you booked appointment before 6th of April and haven't paid by the time you have...

Updated: If you can look closely, it doesn't mention Tier 1 (General)[/color] Well, that's the problem, isn't it? The rule says that except for periods in the listed categories (Tier 1 general is not one of them, so this applies to us), any absences must be related to employment in the UK blah blah...

Does this mean as-long-as we are under the 180 days things must be fine (hope) I wouldn't go as far as saying that but you deffo need letters from employers detailing your absences from the UK (or at the very least, letters confirming you being on paid/unpaid holidays + personal letter detailing th...

Guys, Evidence in the form of a letter from the employer setting out the reasons for the absences, including annual leave, must be provided. Is on page 20 of guidance. Take a printout of guidance and show them. There is nothing mentioning period of leave, its only absence. If they are making up rul...

Not trying to be funny but have you tried drawing a knife? It actually worked with one of my mate. His employer was messing around the same way so he went to the Spam and brought a big knife in his managers room and threaten to stab him. Needless to say it worked. lol

Not advised tho :D
