With the standard service it was pretty much exactly 8 weeks from the date of application to the date of the decision letter, which is as advertised on their website. There's an FLR(M) timeline thread with additional example timelines.

Try not to get overwhelmed by the experience of others as everyone's circumstances are unique. If you meet the requirements and can demonstrate this with documentation, the process is not as difficult as it may seem.
