Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Is anyone else who applied in Sept/Oct 2021 still waiting to even receive evetting? We applied on the 26th of September 2021 and so far have only received an acknowledgement letter in May 2022, nothing else since then. Yes, i know a couple of persons applied same months Sep-Nov who even have not re...

I paid the fee 2 Jan 2023. Applied in Aug 2021.

I don't have the approval yet, even though they asked me to pay the fee. No intel about "fees processed" either.
Try to check the link

Re: Naturalization for minor not currently living in Ireland

Scorecard NOT applies to minors! https://www.irishimmigration.ie/how-to-become-a-citizen/become-an-irish-citizen-by-naturalisation/#Minor-Child If you read this - scorecard applies ONLY to adult applications I would not agree here, scorecard applies to minors as well, even if that is not said in yo...

Re: Residency for Naturalization in Ireland

Additionally, I was made redundant in August 2021 and was without a job for 3 months. I would like to know if this period of unemployment counts towards my residency for naturalization or if it should be excluded. During this period of unemployment, I travelled outside of Ireland for 3 weeks in Oct...

Re: Residency for Naturalization in Ireland

Hello there, I am writing to inquire about the maximum period of absence from Ireland that can be considered for residency purposes when applying for naturalization. According to my understanding, an individual can be absent for a maximum of 6 weeks per year and still be considered a resident. I ar...

Re: how to apply for Stamp 4 after 5 years on General Employment permit

It will be always for 1 year, not for 2 years nor any longer. If you want longer residence, check Long Term Residency. Keep in mind to get that paper you need to pay 500€ fee and also 300€ card renewal fee, only then you can get 5 year residence permit. Here is the details: https://www.irishimmigra...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

My advice would be to use the An Post Mail redirection service to a friend or work address (https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Manage-Your-Post/Arrange-Redirection) until you have a new place to live and then contact immigration with your new address. I used that service, completely useless, shoul...

Re: About the oldest Stamp start date for the Naturalisation Residency Calculation

Hi All, Just a matter of interest - when we use the 'Naturalisation Residency Calculator', we need to select the start and the end date of the stamp you had for that year. In my case, I was on a critical skill visa from June 2020 to June 2022. The start date of my 1st stamp 1 card was supposed to b...
