I hope people will learn from your experience Thanks a lot for posting this. I was the one who posted the ...

I think it should be fine to provide the visa copy. When I was searching for the jobs, 50% of the consultants would ask for it at the very beginning. If I atleast know that this is a real person and can find some details on their website, I have sent the copy of visa to them.

Is your qualification listed under PBS points calculator? Did NARIC letter say that your qualification was equivalent to UK Masters?

If yes, then I think there is a very high chance of winning this case in Admin Review.

Good luck

I was shoping in Boots the other day and the cashier left the till open as a jar fell off a shelf behind her. She turned around to help her colleage clear up the mess and I took all the money and left. It's not my fault she left the till open with the money in it. I don't view this as a crime. That...

I dont agree with Push here. Her original query was asking if one can provide false dates for the travel and get away with it, with out being noticed by HO. You may want to call it loopholes (which it is not) in the system, but it is still a fraud. I can argue that I will deliberately loose my passp...

Because ppl abuse the system like, they get tougher and tougher affecting the genuine applicants. I think there should be some way of linking this forum to HO and using whatever said here as evidense. Seda, atlease realise the imact of these frauds on other applicants. How do you feel if your applic...

I had my ICICI bank statement printed using a dot matrix printer. But it did print the bank's name, logo etc. I had taken sign and seal for the same. Using this I had got my visa 1.5 years ago.

Using 2 year old photo for Tier 1 extension

I know its a stupid question, but thought of asking it anyways as it might save some time. I have the photographs taken close to 2 years back for HSMP visa. Now that I am due for an extension, can I use the same photos? As per the guideliens, I know that they cant be older than 1 month. Has anyone t...

Yes, in some cases. When my wife was looking for a job on HSMP Dependent, she was refused a few times stating that their company policy doesnt allow depends to be hired. so if you have an option of getting Tier 1, just get that.

Re: Entry clearence in to UK second time with out job

I think the problem is more with the Immigration officers in India (esp Mumbai) rather than UK, because over there they fail to understand the logic of "going to another country and searching for a job/ without a job"; I had to explain a great deal about HSMP & Immigration to them. Once you land in...

ya, mail them before 4-5 days and you should generally get your first preferred date.

In worst case, you can just walk in. A friend of mine who went there a month ago told that the number of applicants has come down a bit and he managed to get everything done in 3 hours time.

Good luck

For an extension, I think its only the economic circumstance which can change, so why dont home office simpliify the process of just asking for a bank statement and salary slip and grant the visa?? :). They unnecessarily make us fill the huge application form and a huge money

Carrying GBP 4000 is unnecessary risk. You can get prepaid GBP cards in India. My friend had got one from Axis bank from India with some 2000 GBP loaded on it. You can use that freely in UK. Try considering such options or a travellor's cheque etc, but not so much cash.
