Not necessarily referee need to engaged PROFESSIONALLY with the applicant.

You can ask childminder, GP or any professional... I have learner on members experience that home office not strict on referee particularly for minor applicants.

Just found that a new version of form AN and form MN1 are available asking the confirmation email address to update the progress of application to the applicant.... Look like UKVI struggling hard to improve their system :)

You will be fine :)

BTW, There is no difference between old version and new version of the form apart from the date on front page. Apart from, they add the confirmation email address field to send you the progress of your application.

Under EEA regulations, Permanent Residence status is obtained automatically after 5 years of exercising treaty rights. It has nothing to do with the employment date. Passport is a travel document, if you are planning to go abroad for the rest of your life or you have a dual nationality and don't want to use British passport for your travel... you don't need to apply for it :)
