You can switch from tier 2 to tier 1 as the main applicant in the UK. You can't apply for Tier 1 as the main applicant from abroad as this route is now closed. You can't switch to Tier 1 dependent in country. However you can apply for Tier 1 dependent from abroad because your partner is already here...

Do you have any other children? If you answer these questions then people might be able to give you some further advice. Final...

the UKBA can and will raise new grounds in an appeal so as others have advised you should provide evidence to show that you have been living together for two years. As you have just been refused a visa to join your husband as his dependent they might not accept that you have an intention to return a...

Have you already left the UK? if not is there any re...

Mulderpf has already given you the answer to your question and set it out clearly. there is no such thing as a 'switching category' switching just refers to applying for leave to remain in country from one category to another. What you have suggested is not possible. You can't get 'principle approva...

as long as it has a closing balance it should be OK. Some bank accounts just have the most recent balance which relates to the most recent transaction and a date of the statement. If this is the case then you can either put/take out £10 from your account and get a new statement or highlight the dat...

you can't work full time on a Tier 4 visa apart from at the end of your course or during the holidays. If you have stopped studying then your college/uni are likely to have reported you to the UKBA and withdrawn their sponsorship of you. This means that UKBA could curtail your Tier 4 visa. In any ca...

Sorry I don't really understand your last post. If you mean that the actual start date doesn't appear on the CAS then yes the start date should be mentioned but in your case they can't put the actual start date on the 'start date of visa/course' section on the CAS because they can only put a date in...
