I think the Idea is so that you are in the country while your Tier 1 is approved and also so that possibly you get the stamp in all of the passports as not to cause any discrepancies, and in case you take the wrong one on holiday and can't get back in the country.... not fun! There’s probably some...

The company that you wish to transfer to needs to apply for the permit to be transferred to themselves. You will also then need to apply for FLR to coinside with the duration of the new permit. They will also possibly need to advertise the job opening if it is not on the skills shortage list before ...

Previous Earnings = 45 points Masters Degree = 35 points Total = 80 points And your maintence is enough also from my calculations (250,000INR = £3254) and thats without subjecting it to the 5.3 conversion! But I'd get a second opinion just to be safe. I am after all a random person on a forum.

Apologies, I was obviously writing my post at the same time that was uploaded. I just read the article, and if possible my opinion of that paper just lowered. "but NONE went on booting out foreigners"...... :? Well, I'm going to wait until I hear anything official before I start worrying too much ab...

I've just had a look on their website and could not find anything relating to the story so I too would be interested to see a link.

My opinion of TNOTW is to particularly high so I have my doubts as to the validity of the report. Probably some BNP shouting off again about his plans or something.

Hi guys, I apologise if this is completely irrelevant but it’s just a thought. Would it not be possible to look at your German ancestry and see if there is something similar to the UK ancestry rights scheme. This would allow you (granted probably a number of years down the line) to obtain an EU pa...

Ah ha.... I have consulted a book... The answer to most problems on these matters. It states that as long as you have bank statements for the past 3 months proving that you had the equivlent to £2800 at whatever the varying exhchange rates are then that is what is processed with your application. S...

Hi fleaflyfloflum, I've just had a look at the link and from what I can see the current exchange rate they are using is £1 = $2.60. I'm am unsure if the exchange rate used will be the one in use on the date when you submit your application, or when it actually comes up for evaluation. I would get i...
