Rejection

Hello Batleykhan, Hope you are doing well. My 6 month old daughter's settlement visa was rejected on the basis that: "Your sponsor states that he is currently looking for accomodation in the UK. Your sponsor states that you and your family will be staying in a hotel for two weeks on entry to the UK....

Hi Casa, Thank you for your reply. I did made it clear in my cover letter that we have been married since 2003 and that we are seeking ILE but the KOL endorsement was still not given. We are planning on leaving for the UK (we're currently based in Pakistan) within a couple of months. This does not a...

Hi, I'm somewhat in the same predicament as you. What you can do is that if you have been married for over 4 years and living together outside of the UK during that time then you can apply for ILR provided that you pass the KOL test once you get to the UK. After the above, you will be eligible to st...

Hi, I'm not thread crashing but my issue is a similar one which may help others hence I am continuing in this thread.... My wife and I have been married for 7 years and living outside of UK. She has recently been granted a Spouse/cp visa whereas she should have been granted the same with a KOL req e...

Best to go there and find out. I am in Pakistan currently and therefore cannot go meet them. If the agency is accessible to you, I would advise you to go there.

Don't forget to update the board :)

Hi, I am in a similar situation as you. Been married for 7 years, British by Descent and got endorsement of D-Spouse for my wife and D-To acc mother/cyr for my 2 year old son on their 27 month visas. I believe we should have been given ILE(KOL Req). Now, we will probably have to apply for ILR once w...

Oops! I was wrong about the endorsements. Guess my head was full to the brim with research and I assumed I had been granted ILE instead of the 27 month visas! Endorsements are as follows: Wife: D - Spouse/CP - Spouse/CP of (my name and date of birth) Son: D - To acc mother/cyr (my name and da...

Thanks f2k. I'm still unclear about why my son will not need to reapply since his Leave to Enter is timebound for 27 months after which his visa will expire. Provided my wife passes the KOL test and applies for ILR, her visa does not expire. Will I not need to apply for an indefinite visa for my son...

Thanks for your reply f2k, My wife and son were issued ILE visas with no KOL Req endorsement. Once we land in UK, we will go to the relevant UKBA office and try to get this corrected. As stated earlier, my wife will give the KOL test and apply for ILR. My questions are: 1. Do we need to pay the fee ...

Hello, My wife and son have been issued ILE in Dec 2009. We have been married over 4 years and will be moving to UK together soon. I am the sponsor and a British Citizen. As we have been married over 4 years, she will give the KOL test and apply for ILR once we get to UK. My questions are: 1. Do we ...

Hello everyone, I am a British citizen by descent living in Pakistan. My wife and 3 year old son (Pakistani) have recently been granted ILE. Hi everyone, I applied for a UK Settlement visa today at Gerry's for my daughter from Karachi and had not printed out the guidance notes at the end of the form (VAF4A Pages 14-16). I was informed by the lady behind the counter that these 3 pages are needed since the application consists of 16 pages....

Thank you for your reply Batley Khan. What I still need to know is, do I need to write to ...
