Hi All. Pls I plan to extend my Tier 1 General visa in 8months time i.e 2013. I used my foreign business account as maintenance fund for me and my dependant and our Tier 1 General visas got approved last year. So, you dont have any problem. Just make sure you have more than enough money in your account.

Thanks Tvn-ramesh for your prompt reply. Actually, I'm self-employed in the UK since i finished an MSc program and i've paid my tax and N.I to date. Thanks once again.

I'll advice you to extend your student visa asap before it expires in one week's time(at least, till your results are ready), otherwise, if you go on with the PSW application without your results and certificate, your visa will be rejected and you will be sent home.You don't want that,do you?
