council does not need your ref. number but your correct name. However, this may differ council to council. Check your email for ref. number what you received. usually, it is mix of letters and numbers.

2, I am not sure, when I applied for son with my wife, metioned my details even though I did not apply for myself. Is form did not ask about other parent?

parent concent letter signed by noth parents.

Given you do not have to send originals with the new system, you could have saved yourself £250 if you had kept a copy of it. Do you have a copy of that certificate? If not, you will have to apply for a replacement as advised above. Thats incorrect, HMPO do not accept photocopy, it has been clearly...

why dont you send bank statements with minimum maintenance requirement to HO asap, before they consider your application with covering letter.
This can be yours /wife or combined.

My understanding is that main applicant already in the UK , so you need to show maintenance. As you are dependent on your wife not on sponser. if you would have applied together, situation would be other way.

You need to pay new IHS.
It may be too late, but you can request partial refund for earlier visa IHS if you feel you child granted two years visa instead of three years.
