1. Have you applied before the expiry of your PSW leave on 27 October? 4. Without having seen the documents it appears that a mistake may have been made by the caseworker. Try to contact the caseworker by phone if there is a direct phone number on the letter and also by email if there is a full nam...

Re: PSW to Tier 2(General) - Help Required

Hi, I’m currently on PSW and will be switching to Tier 2 (General). My visa expires in Feb 2013 and my company has already provided with COS. I have few doubts before I submit my application. 1. Currently my salary is 26k however I will be paid 30k in future as required under the SOC code 2132 (Net...

Looks like the case worker thought that you don't come under SOC 3411. Does your job description tally with 3411 description? yes, quite very closely actually. and it doesnt say that they thought that i didnt come under the SOC code. they quite plainly say that it's not NQF 6 therefore have decline...

Re: Refused

Hi hashmil, Sorry about the visa thing. I looked at your situation. I think in Section R document, it saids From 14 June 2012 applicants under Tier 2 (General) or Tier 2 (Intra company transfer) must have an offer of a job at or above NQF 6 if they are:  applying from abroad; or  applying to swit...

Para 77E sets out that jobs must be at nqf level 6 or above unless an exception applies, and switching from psw is not one of them. Hey greenie, that para also states that it can be NQF4(creative). which was my job code (the very code i used was in that para as well). yes, today i received my refus...

Tier 2 (switching from PSW) refused - what am i doing wrong?

So I'm switching from Tier 1 PSW to tier 2 general. Had the whole sponsorship registration delay shinanigans. Been there, done that, got the shirt. Was hoping that everything was in place, as i double and triple checked everything down to the NQF requirements. But after all that trouble and pain got...

Refused

Bad news guys. UKBA managed to put together my COS with my application. however, they have refused is because my COS isn't a NQF 6. It is a NQF 4(creative sector). HOWEVER, on the Tier 2 guidence doc they say this: Applications for entry Clearance or switching into tier 2 (General) 64.If you are app...

Also i think they must have done RMLT in june, will they need to redo? As it is approx 6 months.
also, if you are switching from tier 1 - PSW you'd need unrestricted.
