Re: Will I be able to travel?

Section 1(4) registrations (form T) are not very common as it's obviously not a common situation.

The eligibility requirements are that you:

1) were born in the UK
2) have lived in the UK for the first 10 years of your life with minimal absences (max 90 days per year)

Re: AN Form filled by EU National

A "PR card" and a "DCPR" are basically the same thing, they are just issued in different formats for EEA citizens and non-EEA citizens. For your speed awareness course, you can write it in the additional information box, as it is not a conviction. It will have no bearing on the outcome of your appli...

Re: Days of absence from the UK for EEA citizen

Bear in mind that an SAR may not reveal much (if any) of your travel as you are an EEA citizen. I did one last year and the Home Office had NO record of my travel despite having been out of the country on numerous occasions. Also remember that the UK did not routinely conduct exit checks until last ...

If you have no hope of Tier 1 or Tier 2 then Tier 4 is probably your last bet.

Re: Non EEA citizen marrying non EEA citizen

There is no boyfriend/girlfriend visa. Your options are pretty much:

get engaged/married and apply for spouse visa
partner applies for Tier1/Tier2/Tier4 visa in her own right.

Otherwise you might want to explore a Tier 3 General Visa if you qualify.

Potentially both; if you lose in court you will have to pay the Home Office's costs, and you'll be paying the solicitor regardless of the outcome.

Re: Cert of Entitlement

I don't believe you can register a British citizen as a British citizen. For CoE-RoA, start here: https://www.gov.uk/right-of-abode/apply-for-a-certificate-of-entitlement It is significantly more expensive than a British passport, with none of the benefits of a British passport (other than easier en...

Re: Proving Intent to Return (my wife is visiting)

We want her to come and stay with me for the maximum allowed period and then go home to stay with family and, if possible continue her work as an English teacher until she can come here on a Family of a Settled Person Visa. But the problem is, how do we prove that this is our intention? The best pl...

Re: PR application non-EEA spouse after Surinder Singh route

I was over 60 years old at the time of return and qualified for UK pension credit, so became economically inactive. My reading of the regulations at the time led me to believe my wife could be entitled to Permanent Residence immediately, so duly applied. That was refused but a 5 year Residence Card...

Re: Flr FP rejected :( Any advice will be really appreciated

What were the exact reasons for the refusal? Can you write it out word for word as it is on the letter?

What nationality is your wife?

Did you apply for FLR(FP) parent route or partner route?

Re: Biometric Residence Card (PR) - RETURN

Why are you asking the same question again when you have already had an answer :?:

You do not have a Biometric Residence Permit.

The letter about returning BRP comes as standard in all of the packs. You don't need to worry about it.

Re: PR and Naturalization

In my understanding, the PR Card is just a confirmation of your PR status right ? ( You automatically acquire PR status after 5 years of residence in UK and proof of exercising treaty rights etc, etc. So lets say I did all that and I acquired my PR status on 09/2011. Absolutely correct. Do I have t...

The card only confirms your status at the time of application, and it only proves residency for the 5 year PR qualifying period.

If OP had acquired PR some considerable time ago, the card is not evidence that he has continued to reside in UK.
