Re: Switching from student to skilled

I still want to be able to continue my studies and finish the program. Is that possible? I've read the govt website but it doesn't exactly specify if you can continue your studies after switching. You are allowed to study if you have Skilled Worker permission (subject to ATAS) but it should not int...

Re: Married Colombian and Italian want to live in Spain

As to your question about self-sufficiency refer to
https://www.freemovement.org.uk/wp-cont ... ciency.pdf
Generally it means a level of income or resources that ensure that the person will not be a burden on the state. i.e. no eligibility for state support

Re: Married Colombian and Italian want to live in Spain

Read carefully Chapter III, Article 7 of DIRECTIVE 2004/38/EC https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:02004L0038-20110616 One way around your predicament may be if your Italian wife registers in Spain as a job seeker. Re: Applying for undefined CoS

Is the undefined CoS required for the extension of your Skilled Worker permission? Your licenced sponsor should know the procedure and shouldn't be asking you. If they don't have an undefined CoS allocation available, they have to apply for one The process is described in SMS Manual 2, Guide 7 https...

Re: Dependent visa category when main applicant applies for ILR

Your wife should apply for an extension of her PBS dependant visa after you have obtained ILR. In her visa application she'll have to provide details of your last CoS. She will get a mandatory 3 year extension if the requirements have been satisfied and her ILR clock will not reset. If for any reaso...

Re: Can I get new Tier 2 outside UK before my current Tier 2 expires?

1. I understand I need to be in the UK to switch visa. What if I apply for a new Tier 2 from outside the country before my current visa expires? Your last employer will have reported to the Home Office the end of the sponsorship and the HO will curtail your permission, normally to 60 days from the ...

Read the definition of a professional sportsperson in the immigration rules, clause 6. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-introduction There are some ambiguities in the definition, as pointed out by others (e.g. Free Movement). However, on the basis that fitness training...
