a separate letter from the xformer employer is not a requirement in this case. however no harm in including one. but i would not work very hard to secure that letter if that needed a lot of effort. P60 P45 would suffice.

previously people were booking dummy appointments. that has all changed since ukba required payment at appointment booking stage. hence the freeing up of all appointment slots.

also, it helps to read the relevant application forms and their guide documents published and freely downloadable from UKBA website. All the requirements are mentioned in those two documents. there can be no substitute for doing a little bit of reading these important documents.

referees dont make character assessments or opinions, they simply act as other two persons who know you by name and attest to the fact that you exist and you are real.

you dont have a t2 application. instead you have an outstanding appeal against the refusal of your previous t2 application.

if your appeal was successful, when would you qualify for ilr via t2? you may include the 3c days towards 5 yrs count.

the visa decision will be influenced by how much your parents are able to show that they have strong ties to India and that they have very good reasons not to intend to remain in UK beyond the visit visa period. your own documents and finances are secondary.

do they already have usa visa?
