What is your immigration status and the immigration status of the other parent?

No, child cannot apply to register for British citizenship if either parent DOES NOT have ILR or PR.

As an adult, if you meet all the requirements you can apply now based on 5 years residence, meet the English B1 requirement and LIUK test. You must apply to naturalise as British before you can get a British passpo...

Re: Question: Bringing wife to UK under Tier 2 General VISA

If you state a date of intended travel as 1st July (for example) and you apply now and visa is issued on 22nd May (for example), HO might make the 30 day visa valid from 22nd May and NOT 1st July. It happens often that the 'intended date of travel' is ignored.

Re: return of document from HO after withdrawing application

If you have no valid leave, it might be the case that HO only provide your passport to you at the airport when you leave. They might send it to you though, difficult to say.

She should vary to FLR(M) if she meets the English A2 requirement and the financial requirement. FLRM fees is £993? and what is FLR(FP) that is not for 10 years applicant,s spouse application form? It is the same price. FLR(FP) partner route is ONLY a 10 year route, there is no 5 year route option....

Your wife is the APPLICANT, even if you are completely the form.

Yes you can state a date no more than 3 months in the future. HO might not issue the 30 day visa in line with this though

How would they have known the form would change the very next day? You clearly applied to book your appointment on 5th to avoid the increase in fees. It is well known that the forms change when fees go up.
