Re: ILR Application (Global Talent – UKRI Route) + Dependant Visa Timeline Question

The immigration rules allow dependants to extend if rhe main visa holder has ILR!! It will be a 3 year extension.

There is no requirement to change visa categories.

Re: Application and Referees

The child does NOT need an extension. The visa expireing has NO effect on the child's entitlement to register as British.

Re: Application and Referees

The child is an overstayer once their visa expires.

Section 3C only applies to immigration applications. NOT citizenship applications.

A UK born child does NOT need a valid visa to be registered as British as they have an entitlement to register.

Re: Query about 10 year ILR eligibility (ICT, SKilled & Dependant)

Thanks for your response. In my case there were 8 days where I don't have valid UK VISA (between 11-Jan-2017 t0 19-Jan-2017). Doesn't it break the continuous residence ?
No!!

At that time, wasn't she entitled for a British registration? Yes, if either parent held ILR they could have been registered,. You failed to do it before the eldest turned 18 so that entitlement is valid anymore. Does she need to wait another year to be entitled for naturalisation? Yes, she needs ...

Re: Children Register as British citizenship

The one born in 2006, appears to be over 18. Is that correct? The one born in 2008, under 18 or already 18? UK born children have an entitlement to register as British once either parent is granted ILR provided they are under 18. If they are over 18, they naturalised as adults, have to have ILR and ...

Hey! Our situation is quite similar indeed. I also submitted a query through the portal over a month ago and still haven’t received any reply. Unfortunately, that seems to be common. You could try emailing them directly at support@eutrjustice.cloud.gov.ie or calling 01 616 7700, but in my e ...

Re: Apply for tourist and spouse visas at same time using 2 different passports

You cannot have two visa applications with UKVI at the same time. If you submit both, UKVI will pick up that there is another application and cancel/reject/refuse the other. that you can't apply for spouse visa in the UK whilst on tourist visa. This has always been the case and has always been ...

Not the TLS (third party) website, which is generic and not always accurate. Basically ...
