Re: Tier 2 Dependent Visa Extension (Husband taking ILR)

You should put his ILR expiry date but not 2024. Put a date like 18 September 2022, ie. 3 years in order to get the correct IHS of £1200 per applicant.

From what I understand from various posts and in the HO policy documents, i can apply 28 days before the completion of my 5 years qualifyin...

Re: Applying for ILR without letter from employer

Hi jasongosling, I have been in a similar situation, but managed to convince HR to do asap. Don't know if you have noticed how Home Office changes the rules and cost of visas latelly...these have been escalating very quickly without any warning. Also, Brexit without a deal may affect the processing...

Re: British Citizen Returning to UK- Spouse Visa

Does my wife has to register herself to the local authority that she has started to live in UK in that address? Should I provide "council tax" on her name? No! Or I will declare evidence of ownership of house ( my relative's ownership document), council tax which is on my wife's relative's names, l...

Re: Naturalisation Application Next Month - Help

My question is if I fill the online form now and take a biometric appointment for let say 24th of October then will it work? No. The date of application is the date you submit and pay online. You must meet the requirements on this date. Your date of appointment is irrelevant, it is just a third par...

Re: British Citizen Returning to UK- Spouse Visa

I try to learn if my wife ( British citizen- sponsor) has to be there during my application process. No. If I arrange a house in UK ( my wife's relative's house which is big enough for overcrowding issue) take a letter from the landlord ( relative) to claim that we can stay at their house until we ...

Re: Extension of FLRM Urgent advice needed

If you don't have all the mandatory documents as stated in Appendix 1.7 for the financial requirement, then you likely only have the option of FLR(FP), which will reset her ILR 5 year clock by the way.

A letter explaining whatever will carry little weight.

Passport is sufficient. You would only need evidence of residence since the date your passport expired.

Did she meet the B1 English and liuk requirements as well as the financial requirement? Did she submit evidence of cohabitation for 2 years prior to submitting? Did she apply on the correct form, SET M? Have you moved or double checked the address and email are correct in the online form submission?...

Re: Spouse Visa FLR M

She cannot travel out of the UK if she has a pending application. It will be considered withdrawn if she travels.

As you got ilr based in long residence, she really should switch before traveling. She risks being refused entry to the UK on her current visa (yes this has happened to members).
