Re: Need Canada PR Visa inforamtion-Consultants

Hi

You don't really need an immigration consultant to apply. All the required information is very well given on the CIC website.

Re: Express Entry - Please clear my confusion

Hi tulipz, You wrote "I read on the website that invitations are being sent out for 470+ scores. Who gets 470+ out of max 500" ??? Where did you read this? I have been through the website with a fine toothed comb. There is nothing on CIC website which tells you this. I will be intrigued to know this...

Hi tulipz, I will try to answer your queries based on my capability and experience. I have already applied last month and I am into the pool competing with others. See my response below. 1. Re: Point Based Calculator going away

Hi folks The intention is not to hijack the post but query something which is relevant to the topic. May be others might be in a similar situation as I am. For my initial application and all my subsequent extensions I proved my English language skills based on “degree taught in English” option avail...

Re: ILR Eligibility (Dependant)

Thanks Vinny

Unfortunately the response wasn’t loud and clear. Do you mean she can still be Tier1 dependant with me on ILR until she sees her ILR?

In fact it’s good news that I don’t have to go through the rigmarole of applying her visa and can directly apply for her residency when it’s due.

Re: UK-ILR / Canadian-FSWP

Thanks Wanderer I agree with your response and I am very well aware of this situation. My best bet would then be to apply for citizenship first and then move on. That does mean that I will have to wait longer to apply for Canadian residence. I have posted a query on the Canadian forum as well. Can I...

Hi folks, I have my ILR due in Aug 2016 which means I start building up my documents and finances from July this year. I’ve had my previous Tier-1(general) extensions as contractor (one in 2012 & one last year). I am now planning to go staff from July 2015. Will it have any repercussions on my ILR a...

Re: Tier 1 (General) Extension Approved

Hi iffi786

My first EC was after 6th April 2011. So it's 2+3+3 in my case.

It should be 3yrs in your case if it was after 6th April 2011.

Thanks

Re: Tier 1 (General) Extension Approved

Hi iubus2005, All they provide you is a 3 page approval letter stating your approval and the points scored. Last time when I went for extension I did ask them about the duration but they weren't bothered to answer. All they said is it will be stated on your BRP. I knew the rules so I wasn't bothered...

English language Test for Dependants

Hi

Is English Language Test required for dependants to extend Tier 1 (general) visa within UK?
There is nothing in the dependants form which specifies ELT requirements.

As far as I know it's only required for ILR applications.

One of the posts I read here has made me absolutely confused.

Thanks

Re: Refund from HMRC (Ltd Company)

Hi

After a bit of search on google engine & GOV.UK, I found this. See link.

https://www.gov.uk/working-tax-credit/overview

So that answers my first question. I'd tick No. Working tax Credit doesn't apply.

How about my other query regarding refund?

Thanks

Hi I have got a refund from HMRC for the excess tax I paid. Amount was circa 4k & put back in to my personal account. Re: Reporting changes to HomeOffice

Hi Waqqasbhangoo & jonbca

I have changed my address twice after I got my extension but I have never reported any address changes to HO.
It is recommended but not required.

It's a different story if you are awaiting a response from UKBA or you are required to register with police.

Thanks
