Look applying/holding RC is optional because it is just the confirmation of your rights as long as you have relationship with EEA national and EEA national is excercising its treaty rights. Any absence from uk up to 6 months does not break the mean of residence and based on this concept and the evidences such as marriage certificate and EEA's excercising eu treaty rights then there should not be any problem.

But it looks strange as you are saying to have tax returns because of doing trading activities but not have business/trading bank statements. I do not think that is there any mode of self employment without banking and is based on cash.

yes that is right but business account statement shows the broader picture of trading activities and the same caseworker most frequently but not always want to see.

There is no difference between an EEA2 residence card being endorsed on passport or be placed on A4 size page because both have same worth. Other than it might be a pain to have to carry an A4 piece of paper around. Laminate the A4 size paper or wait for another 6 months for its transfer on passpor...

i do not think that there is need to mention too much about divorce details/reason/history or personal story as you already have a formal divorce certificate that is absolutely a legal channel. Just be precise and relevant based on your current circumstances.

Under EEA law only the activities EEA national are counted because non-EEA national gets its rights based on these and his/her activities are not relevant. Normally the residence breaks after 6 months of continuous absence from uk. If you working/self sufficient/studying/self sufficient then just me...
