Ok. Thanks for your reply. Does this mean after fees has been taken. And before my application appears in system, the are actually running the background checks? . It feels better to know that something is being done with my application rather than lying there on someone's desk!
Aside from taking the fees and all side tasks, can gurus shed some light on how long does it actually take case worker yo process application.
My fees have been taken some time now and I learnt that my application is not even on the system yet! And just sat there awaiting processing!

Mate, give it a couple of days more, people applied before you still waiting for money and ack letter. Hope this helps and follow our timeline for October and you will see it yourself. They are just too busy that is all.

How come applications received on 8th got their payments taken before applications received on 7th and even some of the 4th! What is the logic? ????
1- 5&6 were Saturday and Sunday and HO does NOT receive applications on on those days as per their website. Be sure of of that. Not sure about these two cards. In general there is massive delays in Payments I think today 17 October, they will be working on applications received on 04 October...............
there is a SLOW progress in payment. So 14 oct HO took payment for applications received 1 OCT . Today 15 Oct they took for 02 Oct applications, you do the maths.
What number did you call? How long did you wait for an answer ? plus how did they know they have the application if you don't have any refernce number yet?
