Re: Online application query

Why are you reverse calculating your annual pay? Your actual annual salary should be on your payslip and your P60. You can also download the HMRC app to view your tax record as well as your gross salary.

How much was the increment? Did everyone else in the company got a comparable increment at the same time?

Re: Official requirements for cohabitation documents

What’s even more confusing is the fact that the online form does not ask for any cohabitation documents at all. I sent some for my family anyway as it’s better to err on the side of caution.

My understanding is, they want to see documents evenly spread over last two years.

Re: What class as working according to Home Office

Spread betting is classed as gambling, not working and it is tax free so you don't have to declare your earnings. The catch, however is that you must have subsistence income from another source, otherwise your SB earnings will be considered your primary source of income and hence taxable and classed...

Hi Guys

A simple question. Just don't know the answer.

While booking the PSC appointment, do we pay the Visa application fees as well (At the same time)?

Thanks in advance.
Yes you pay online at the time of booking.

ILR for Tier-2 Dependants

Hi, I was granted ILR via Tier-2 General route in March this year. I am now in the process of making an ILR application for my wife and two children using the online SET (O) form. I am a bit perplexed as the online form does not ask for any cohabitation documents. Can anyone please confirm if these ...

Re: Lots of ILR Questions

I don't know if this is going to a problem for your ILR application. However, having an incorrect address on your driving licence can cost you £1000 in fine. Best have it changed:

Re: urgent - need clarification on set 0 application premium service fee

The payment pages on the form are irrelevant for premium service appointments. You'll need to present your Appointment Booking Checklist as proof of payment at PSC. No need to worry or pay more as you booked your appointment before the new fee became effective.

Re: Set (O) form Version and Premium Centre Appointment

I'm not sure. I remember reading somewhere that the old form remains valid for certain number of days (can't remember how many) after a new version is released. I think you should use the latest one based on the fact that I was asked if I had used the latest form prior to case registration at PSC. A...

Re: Set (O) form Version and Premium Centre Appointment

The document you download from PSC booking website is just a confirmation of your booking. It is not the SET (O) form, although, the website incorrectly refers to it as such. You should use the latest SET (O) form. Forget about the payment pages you do not need to fill them. You must take your Appoi...

Re: Tier-2 General - ILR Application Sanity Check

I supplied documents listed in my original post. Just increased to quantity of payslips and bank statements to 3 each.

I went to Solihull PSC. My application was processed in less than 3 hours in total. No questions asked and no additional documents requested.

Re: Took English test for UKVI using resident permit instead of passport

Thank you.

I went to Solihull for 11:00 appointment. Got the decision around 13:45.

I don’t think you need to worry at all. I was exactly in the same situation as I used my BRP for B1 exam and they asked me no questions.

Update from me as promised.

My ILR has been approved today so it definitely isn’t a problem. Save your £150, better spend that money on Champaign once you get approved. 😂

I think the best course of action would be to actively start looking for another sponsor now. You’re going to lose your job anyway, why wait for that to happen?

Re: Took English test for UKVI using resident permit instead of passport

Yes the certificate does show ID details. I’m sure UKVI have access to more data than what’s included on the certificate. I had my SAR done a couple of months ago, it did contain ID details as well my test score which is not provided to the candidates.

A letter is needed to certify payslip as authentic if it is not printed on company branded paper. My employer uses a generic payslip format.
