1000 pounds for a visa

Hello

some one told me that a 1000 pounds is going to be charged for a visa, is that just a rumour.

also i heard that the duration for HSMP visas is going to be changed to 2 years, after 2 years the HSMP holder would have to get another 2 or 3 years HSMP visa, is that true or another rumour?

i contacted the us authorities & the canadian guys, the canadians responded by stating that they did not have a problem from the us i got an an automated response with a whole bunch of links. one of the linkswas the link to the local us embassy's website (london in our case) i checked out this link ...

yes, i was already in the uk when my first employer applied for my wp and visa extension so i stuck in the date when i entered the uk last. and that was on a conference trip to ireland, to mkae it even complicated, i was not stamped on my return back from ireland, so i think the last stamp probably ...

went through check and send

applied on the 25th of feb and got my passport on the 8th of march, it was issued on the 2nd of march

my friend applied for naturalisation through a postal application some time in september, he got his aceptance some time this month.

is the status granted by the home office in india? or by the HCI?

oh that is the confusion

i had applied for secure delivery, but my supporting documents were still sent non secure.

that is why i thought that it is the british passport which has the option, the other documents are just sent non-secure

hey i was wondering if one needs to let the indian high commision know immediately of one's acquiring british nationality.

if i tell them about it a month after my acquiring naturalisdation, is that a problem?

i had alsmost the same experience

i had a "failed" delivery at my residence and got it re delivered to my work address.

buty i am not sure if there is any point in going for the secure delivery

All the states on the border will continue to have some or the other issues continuously.

i thought broadly speaking the indian government for security checking had classified j&k, assam & punjab as distrubed areas.

perhaps the classification for punjab has been withdrawn, in that case i stand corrected
