Re: Re-entry visa

@Llian2345: Yes you will get the visa straight from the officer. Once you have your appointment, make sure you are in the office 5 mins before of your appointment time and they will call your name. You will present your documents and within few mins the officer will issue you your visa. alternativel...

Re: Irish Citizenship Question

Best to talk to the department of foreign affairs OR to the Irish embassy. I think you have great chances to claim citizenship through your ancestors.

Good Luck

Re: Married before or after moving? help!

I agree with noajthan, best to get married first and than move to Ireland as join spouse visa will cost you over 6 months waiting and if you are coming here on a green card so, your spouse visa will be approved with your's one.

All the best..........

Re: Out of state for vacation

I think to renew your residence card you should not be absent from the state more than 90 days per calendar year and for citizenship you should not be absent more than 6 weeks per calendar year. If you are out of the state more than 6 weeks, the citizenship division will ask you for an explanation o...

Takes about 6 month easily if you are lucky. You might need to knock the door of Foreign office Dublin few times if you want to speed up the process.

I presume this is the problem that your wife is white British (with no Pakistani roots). If she has any Pakistani roots the whole delima wouldn't even raised. They also might think if you never been to UK and she is a Brit citizen, how you both met and how did the distance relationship survived.... ...

Not to worry, this is typical DOJ attitude. Hire immigration solicitor ASAP and try not to duplicate you question as below:

Re: references

When I applied for my naturalization 2 years ago, I asked my manager and 2 of my company directors for reference. I got approval and it was acceptable. So find someone at work place if you can.

Good Luck
