Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

In the past 3 years I was absent from UK 35 times. On Page 2 - "Residence requirements" I can only put 20 absences meaning that I will have to write remaining on Page 15 - "Further Information Not Covered" which will pretty much fill that page too. As I will be requesting discretion would the cover ...

Re: Advice required - discretion for absence over 100 days

When asking for discretion would this wording be appropriate in your opinion: "I wish to state that I have made the UK my home together with my family. I have a large part of my estate in the country. In the past few months, due to the nature of my work, I had to spend several weeks working abroad."...

Re: Advice required - discretion for absence over 100 days

Thank you. I would like to ask one more question if possible. In 2 months I will be having less than 100 days absent in the last year. Right now as I far as I understand I can apply for distrection and I do satisfy all requirements such as having a family, home and substantial part of my estate here...

Re: Advice required - discretion for absence over 100 days

I cannot read some of the stamps in my passport and regarding some dates I can not be 100% certain of the exact days of absence . I don't have any other records to find out when I left or returned to the UK (ie flight tickets).
How important is to have exact dates of absence from UK?

Re: Lost my passport

I did apply for a new passport and have registered with the police that my passport is lost.
However, I have no idea how I can prove exactly my absence in the past 3 years. I know roughly how much I was absent (+/- 10%) but not for sure.

Lost my passport

I have lost my passport and I am wondering how this may influence my citizenship application as I am eligible to apply on basis of being married to BC for over 3 years. I have been absent for about 60 days in the past year and in total about 150 days for the past 3 years. Could someone please advise...

Second Referee

Am I correct to understand that it is enough for 2nd referee to be a holder of British passport and that he/she do not have to be a professional person?

Thanks for the reply. I have one questions which I have posted somewhere else but I still need clarification. I lost my passport a month ago and I was wondering how big a problem will it be. In the past year I have been out of UK for I think some 30 days but I am don't know the exact numbers and I c...

I have been in contact with several agencies offering their services to help with citizenship application and most of them charge 500 pounds. 1. My first question is if I would to use NCS is there really a point of engaging an agency or solicitor to help as I have been married for over 3 years to BC...

Am I right to understand that you do not essentially have to get the exact number of days right as long as you are very near the total number of days absent?

I can list roughly the dates and I would be mistaken by a margin of 4-5 days.
Will my rough but not precise estimate affect my application?

90 Days

I lost my passport a month ago and I was wondering how big a problem will it be. In the past year I have been out of UK for I think some 30 days but I am don't know the exact numbers and I can not specify the exact dates now.
Any suggestions on what I should put in AN form?
