You still need to answer the question about countries lived in though.
Yeah that should be fine. We have added the chronological sequence of her moving between India and the UK and have the stamps and tickets to prove it, if required.

New Set (O) online form query - Urgent please

Hi Guys, My wife and I are preparing our ILR application and plan to submit it this weekend. I am stuck at one question. There is a question that says "Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?". I responded Yes to this since she has lived in India. After...

Re: ILR Set(O) Cohabitation Documents

The requirements state: Evidence provided should cover the whole period and be in the form of official letters or documents, addressed to yourself and your spouse. "Official" is not defined, nor is the actual number and frequency of evidences. This is what I provided for my ILR: 1. UK Visa and Immi...

Re: Wrong curtailment of leave notice after changing sponsor

Update I received a normal letter (not an email) from Home Office today (3 August 2017) that the notice of curtailment was sent in error and that my and my dependants' leave to remain has been reinstated. The letter dated 31 July had apologies from the HO for the confusion caused. So here are the ti...

Re: Tier 2 General extension CoS has 5 years, visa 3 years

My personal experience is that when you apply online (which I did) and enter the CoS number, it automatically picks up the application duration. You don't get a choice. Having said that, in my case, the new CoS was taking the total stay well beyond 6 years. However, I got the visa for exactly the ti...

Re: Wrong curtailment of leave notice after changing sponsor

I finally received a regular letter (not email) from the Home Office today acknowledging their mistake and reinstating my leave. Exactly 9 days after I sent them a letter asking to rectify my records. So, to help anyone who might read this thread in the future, I'll summarise the ordeal: - I sent a...

Re: Wrong curtailment of leave notice after changing sponsor

So I am in the same boat as of today! I changed sponsors in December and today morning I got an email stating that my leave has been curtailed. Now looking at these responses, I think I need to send a letter back to the team that sent the email (Sheffield address). I have already informed the HR. As...

Sitrep Received the BRPs today. Feeling fantastic! So in essence - The issue described in this thread is a non issue and what Eduleal and Char have said holds correct. You can continue working for your old employer even on the start date mentioned in the CoS. However, you need to resign immediately ...

Re: Work start date - Urgent query

Can you point to the threads and posts that state otherwise? If your new visa is rejected, you'd still be able to continue working for your current sponsor on your old visa until that expires. A new COS without an approved new visa does not invalidate your current visa. You still have valid leave. ...

Re: Work start date - Urgent query

Just as a post note Eduleal

The guidance clearly states that

You can continue working for your previous sponsor until the start date on your new certificate of sponsorship if your current permission to stay is still valid.
