Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Im happy that people who opted out are getting appointments but had UKVCAS mentioned that IDV will become available in September and if you need appointment in August then opt-out then it would have been clearer and I would have opted out also. But they said IDV will start 1st August.. so it did no...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi , I am not going to opt out. In their email, they clearly said it will be rolled out in August. My perspective, It is hard to get an appointment in August through UKVCAS. That is my thought process also.. so divided on this, but staying with the app appears to be the cheapest and probably fastes...

Re: Biometric Reuse: IDV app slower than in-person biometrics?

Hi I am in the same situation, I have to travel outside the UK for absolute reason, so feeling very anxious right now. I emailed UKVCAS to ask, but yet heard back about the availability if we opt out for the app thing. some people said the appointments cost between 250 to 600 pounds. There are some free once but very very limited. Nothing is really clear about the app yet but they said it should be out during August.
This is really helpful to know before hand.. Thanks for telling me this..

Re: Tier 2 G Dependant Visa Question

The visa will be issued to expire the same time as your current visa. She will have to pay the full visa fee and IHS though, note Ihs is doubling soon. @CR001 All I see online is that the IHS will be increased from December 2018, but it has still not been set into effect. Do you have any idea when ...

Re: UK tier 2 general postal services

You should have been emailed from UKVI explaining the reason for delay. If even after 15 working days there has been no contact then you should email Prioritypostalrequests[AT]homeoffice.gov.uk with your details and you priority reference number and ask for an update regarding the status of your app...
