It is fine to work on a Timesheet basis as long as you meet the aforementioned requirements. Just make sure that you pay Tax and NI and the HMRC / Home Office will be happy.

If you're issued a new CoS then it is my understanding that you will need to submit an application and your passport for new stamping also as each entry clearence is related to a specific CoS code.

Why do you need that much cash? Can you not just withdraw some once you are here in the UK? Edit: Just did a bit of research and found "Please note that from 15 June 2007, if you are travelling to or from a country outside the European Union (EU), you will need to declare any sums of cash of 10,000 ...

Degenham,Barking, East Ham, Brixton, Peckham or Stockwell Coincidentally known as the worst areas to live in London (and UK in general). Add Hackney, Stratford, and Canning Town - and you will have a complete list of places to avoid at all costs. Very true. Op doesn't say that he would like to die ...

If you move into a South East London Suburb (New Eltham, Sidcup, BexleyHeath etc:) It's a 20 - 30 min train ride into Waterloo and you could rent a house to yourself with your own garden for £800 per month + bills

Unfortuantley...

1. Yes you have to pay it regardless

2. Not that I'm aware of no. This is why you must prove the maintainence requirement when applying for the Teir 1 (HSMP)

3. It will be taxed as it would still come under the PAYE system.

Sorry

You can obtain an emergency travel document but it is a one-way travel.

I would have to agree and put your travel plans on hold until this is resolved. Either that or contact an immigration solicitor.
