Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

UK has raised the minimum points requirement again for the month of June. I had 50+ points and would have made the May cut if my application would have been in on time but I just got notice that I was rejected for June applications for NOT meeting the minimum points requirement. I have heard that t...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

Here's a little joke: I had thought it would be fast and easy to obtain my visa, just signing a few papers and submitting a document or two :) :D  This is the first time I'm waiting to hear on a decision; I don't know how the rest of you have kept up this nail-biting wait for even longer :) Be...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

The only problem is that if such a thing was taking place then it would be surely on the website or be notified to the employers. Dont know. Lets patiently wait for a few more days hopefully. We have anyway waited for so long. We should be used it . :D Here's a little joke: I had thought it would b...

Can somebody help me establish how many points I have? Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

I'm still surprised. this month is not like any other month. This type of delay has never really happened before. I am hoping it's a positive delay. They should let us know already. I need to ensure that if I don't get through this month, I remind my company law firm to put in an application for ne...

Is it possible for your employer to apply with a higher salary ( for the sake of getting COS ) and then not pay you the same?
Companies caught doing things like that might have their licenses revoked per my understanding...

I was just informed by my immigration law firm that it would probably be another week for all the results to come out.
How did they get the estimate on the timeline?

38k, non NHS, non SOL, Status: "Under Review"
Good luck - should a good sign I hope - that means there is something to be reviewed - otherwise if points aren't sufficient there wouldn't be anything for review

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

I had also discussed it in brief with the HR, who said that it is also possible this time that all decisions will be given after 6th july. Even for the june slot. Then she told me to contact the immigration firm directly and seek more clarity, if I want. Are you sure , It doesn't make sense to me ,...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

They still require a CoS to apply for a tier 2 general visa. Their CoS will not be part of the monthly allocations and cut off as far as I understand. No, the amendment to the rule puts all doctors anf nurses in the same category as people earning more than 1,59,000 pounds who do not require a COS....

Obviously doctors will be refused this month! Because they no longer require a COS!!! They just have to apply from 6th july onwards. The window has been kept open because if any doctor has recieved a COS in the previous months, he can still apply for a tier 2 visa with that otherwise it will be a w...
