SET O UKVCAS Super priority appointment on 22Dec- no decision till time

Hi Folks
Have attended priority biometrics appointment on 22Dec (Sat @ 9am) for Set O settlement application in Manchester by paying £3018,50. Home office website says decision will be given with 24 working hours- it's been 48 working hours in my case (full day 24Dec & 27Dec) but no news? Called up 0300 123 2241 & they say applicant has to wait for a home office revert & they cannot give a time frame..
What's your experience- has anybody applied on/around 22Dec Set O & got decision? Mine is a pretty straight forward case of 5yrs stay in Tier 2 general and now applying for settlement with all documents.Normally how much time does home office take for decision on super priority applications in SetO? Is there a way we can call up and ask them why it's taking long or just an agonizing wait!
