share code and right to work check

Hi,
My current visa expires on 31st Aug 2020. I have submitted application for visa extension with the home office and have the application reference number. Currently, waiting to book biometric appointment. Recently, I have been offered a job and would like to know what details I should submit to the employer for them to conduct the ‘right to work’ check. Also, pls let me know how to get the share code, to be shared with the employer. Thanks

What visa do you currently hold and what extension have you applied for??

I am on tier 2 ICT dependent. Have applied for extension till Aug 2023 in the same visa

I don't know. I don't work for UKVI it have any reason to use the right to work website.

As CR said. You can check and prove your right to work from the below link

You will be given a Share code which you can share with new employer to enable them to check that details from
https://www.gov.uk/view-right-to-work

Unless you get your new BRP you can prove your right to work only till Aug 2020 as per your current BRP.


Note :
You’ll need one of the following to generate share code using first link.

your biometric residence permit number
your biometric residence card number
your passport or national identity card, if you have settled or pre-settled status

Hi,
I am currently on Global Talent status in the UK.
When I enter the details from my BRP using the below link.

It shows me the below message and I can’t share access code with an employer.

“We cannot show your details
To prove your right to work, show your employer your:

EU, EEA or Swiss passport or national identity card
biometric residence document
or other identity documents
If you have applied to extend your stay

Ask your employer to check your right to work with the Home Office.”


Any view on why this is happening and do I need to take any action?
Also, my partner who is on my dependent, her details appears on the same link using her BRP details.
