Should apply for ILR ? Please help.

Presently my wife visa on family and partners 10 years route . In August 20 she will apply for extension her visa in FLR(FP) form. In January 21 she will eligible for ILR on long residence route. My query is while pending her application should she apply for ILR in January 21 or should she wait for outcome of FLR(FP) application . Please help.

If the application will be applied in timely then section 3C will be triggered until the date of decision during which if someone completes its 10 years then can vary into SET (LR) without waiting the outcome of first application.
